Expert Staffing (713)856-7132 is currently seeking a Lead Process Engineer for an International Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Company located in Houston, Texas.

This position is directly responsible for the overall execution of process work for the assigned unit, providing process design deliverables and design information to the project team in accordance with the project execution plan and contract technical objectives. The candidate will be directly responsible for meeting schedule, planning manpower, measuring progress, ensuring the quality of deliverables, and managing inter-discipline and intra-discipline information flow to insure integrity of process data throughout the life of the project. Candidate typically has 15+ years of process design experience in the hydrocarbon industry in a lead role with specialization in refining. Experience in the design of one or more of the following refinery process units is desirable: Atmospheric Distillation, Vacuum Distillation, Hydroprocessing and Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC). Person should have an understanding of key interfaces between process and other engineering disciplines; a strong understanding of major process/systems deliverables such as PFD, H&MB, equipment datasheets, P&ID, hydraulics, relief valve spec, relief load and instrument specifications; a strong understanding of safety systems and of the key equipment and concepts involved in typical refining facilities. Experience in the development of conceptual designs and technology development is desirable. Degree in Chemical Engineering required.
